Bring a big stick to protect yourself from loose dogs and also the coyote pack.

Someone was bitten by a loose dog on the Greenway Trail a while ago. And coyotes live along the trail also. Also large sections of wooden boardwalk that twist and turn made for a slow, slippery, rough sections.

This is an adequate section of trail for a beginner or a slow paced cruise with your children, but not an effective alternative to riding on the road. The trail was overall nice. The path was clean and shaded well with the foliage. Had some descent scenery but I would argue it's much more of a bike trail than a trail for runners.
